Hanging Out With Friends on the hCG Diet
My own individual involvement with the hCG diet helped me to understand that hanging out with friends while taking hCG can be very difficult. In spite of this challenge, I was able to socialize with family and friends while staying on the hCG diet.
Some other hCG dieters appear to be suffering with the identical problem — how can you socialize with family and friends without straying off the hCG diet? Believe me, this is why many hCG diets fail. They aren’t starving and they are losing fat, but with most socializing involving snacks and beverages, going out is difficult.
Here are my suggestions to socializing while taking hCG:
- Schedule a spa outing with friends. Enjoy a facial, manicure and full-body massage, but do not let the spa put any products with oil on you.
- Bring your own treats for a trip to the cinema. Cut up an apple or a few strawberries and bring the treat to the cinema with you.
- Shop for an outfit in your dream size. If you want to get down to a size 6 then purchase stylish clothing in this size. This isn’t only fun, it will inspire you to stay on the diet for its entirety.
- Go to the pool or beach. Many people do not enjoy snacking in their bathing suit, so it’s easier to avoid temptations.
- Cook for your family and friends. Inviting friends to your house for a meal allows you to control the food served. Give your guests bigger servings of the hCG-approved foods you are already eating.
Although these suggestions may assist you while on your hCG diet, you probably will still run into temptation. Evaluate the pros and cons to cheating on your diet — are those nachos worth disrupting your diet for? If you are striving to lose weight then just stick to it, you will lose that weight in no time.
